Terms of Service

Acceptance and scope

These Terms govern the free Refined Daily applications for Android and iOS and associated account/support services provided by Refined Daily LLC. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. The Privacy Policy explains information handling. The free mobile service has no advertisements, paid plans, purchases or subscriptions.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 to create your own account. Children under 13 are not eligible. You must also meet applicable local requirements for entering this agreement; obtain any legally required parent or guardian authorization if you are a minor. We do not provide an under-13 parental-consent account program.

Accounts and security

Provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential and use only accounts and organization roles you are authorized to access. Tell support@refineddaily.app if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for your activity to the extent applicable law permits. Do not impersonate others, share privileged access or bypass verification, eligibility or security controls.

Permitted use and content rules

Use the Service for lawful Scripture engagement, reflection and permitted Church/group participation. Do not submit or distribute illegal material, child sexual exploitation material, sexual content prohibited by the Service, threats, hateful abuse, targeted harassment, deceptive content intended to harm others, or instructions that facilitate dangerous or unlawful activity. Do not violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, introduce malware, exploit vulnerabilities, evade moderation, manipulate safeguards or interfere with other accounts or service operation. These rules apply to private AI inputs and institution-published resources.

AI and spiritual limitations

Today, Refiner and private Insights may use AI-generated content. Responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or unsuitable. Use judgment and verify important statements against Scripture and trusted sources. Generated content is not authoritative divine direction, a guaranteed spiritual outcome, or a substitute for pastoral relationships.

The Service does not provide medical, mental-health, legal or financial professional advice. Insights is not a diagnosis or a measure of spiritual worth. Seek qualified assistance for consequential decisions and local emergency services for immediate danger. Do not rely on an AI conversation as an emergency response service.

Your content and privacy

You retain rights you have in your submitted content. You grant Refined Daily LLC a limited permission to host, store, process and transmit it as reasonably necessary to provide the features you request, protect the Service, handle authorized reports and meet applicable obligations, consistent with the Privacy Policy and consent controls. This permission does not make private content public or authorize selling private reflections. Submit only material you have the right to use and avoid unnecessary personal information about others.

Church and group resources

Assigned resources are institution-published content available according to organization/group permissions. Membership does not give Church leaders access to private study responses, Refiner conversations or private Insights. Publishers remain responsible for rights, accuracy and compliance of their resources. The free mobile service does not provide member public posting, direct messaging, Church source administration or aggregate Insights.

Reporting and moderation

Use the in-app report action for a selected Refiner response, assigned resource or publisher conduct. Contact support@refineddaily.app for other concerns or to request review of a moderation decision. Reports record limited references, reasons and processing metadata; reporting does not disclose a private conversation to Church leadership.

We may investigate reports, restrict or remove violating resources, adjust safety controls, and suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risks or violations. We do not promise manual review of every private conversation or a fixed response time. Where appropriate and lawful, we explain restrictions and consider review requests; we may act immediately when necessary to protect people or the Service.

Intellectual property and feedback

Refined Daily software, branding and original service materials belong to Refined Daily LLC or its licensors. Scripture translations, institution resources and other third-party material remain subject to their respective rights and applicable notices. You receive a limited, nonexclusive permission to use the Service as provided, not to redistribute protected resources or claim ownership of them. You may voluntarily send feedback; we may use it to improve the Service without compensation, but feedback does not waive rights in your private account content.

Third-party services and availability

The Service depends on supported devices, connectivity, hosting, authentication, email and AI providers. Third-party sites and platform services may have their own terms. We are responsible for our own obligations; third-party access does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or accuracy. We may maintain, change or discontinue features and provide appropriate notice where practicable or required by law.

Termination and deletion

You can stop using the Service and request account deletion in Settings in the Android or iOS app, or at https://refineddaily.app/account-deletion without installing the app. Verify the account password and confirm DELETE MY ACCOUNT. Password reset and support assistance are available. Deletion closes account access and invalidates sessions; private account content enters retryable erasure and the client clears device-local private state. Processing may complete asynchronously. Limited security, deletion and restoration records may remain for legitimate operational or legal reasons. Protected backups follow applicable backup and recovery schedules; provider deletion or expiry follows applicable obligations. Restored backups require deletion reconciliation before normal access resumes. Church-owned publications and opaque provenance may remain without carrying your private responses. Account deletion cannot be reversed through the normal product. Suspension is not a substitute for a deletion request.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided as available without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for every purpose or produce a particular spiritual outcome. Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory consumer rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Refined Daily LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the Service. You remain responsible for evaluating generated content before acting on it. This provision does not limit liability for fraud, intentional misconduct or other liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. It does not remove mandatory remedies. No contractual indemnity or mandatory arbitration requirement is imposed by these Terms.

Applicable law and disputes

Applicable law governs these Terms. Mandatory protections and rights available under the law applicable to you continue to apply. No exclusive forum or additional contractual governing-law choice is specified. Contact support@refineddaily.app to seek resolution of a concern; this does not prevent exercising legal rights.

Changes and contact

We publish the current Terms with a version and effective date and provide appropriate notice of material changes.
